This 8 Days Kenya Safari tour takes you to one of Kenya's unique parks. We shall visit Samburu National Reserve in the Northern Touristic Circuit, head to Lake Naivasha one of the Great Lakes of The Rift Valley, and end your safari at Masai Mara National Reserve.

DAY 1: ARRIVE AT JKIA IN NAIROBI

You will be received with a warm welcome at the airport by our airport representative and driven to your city hotel; a perfect place where you will be accommodated for your first night in preparation for your safari the following day.

DAY 2: NAIROBI - SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE - 4 1/2 Hrs

After early morning breakfast, we shall set off further North to Samburu. We shall leave the city hotel at 0700hrs. Our journey is 4 ½ hrs. The region is rugged and very scenic with beautiful landscapes.

We shall arrive at approximately 1030hrs and start our safari with an en-route game drive. The climatic condition here is hot and dry. Check-in early for lunch at the Ashnil Samburu luxury Camp, set at the bank of the Ewaso Nyiro river. After lunch, have some time for a siesta or enjoy the lodge facilities at the swimming pool as you cool off from the hot sun. An evening game drive is dedicated to you at 1600hrs. The reserve is famous for the special five namely; the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, beisa Oryx & secretary bird. There is also a variety of other game such as elephants (big herds), lions, leopards, cheetah,s and gazelles. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

DAY 3: EXPLORE SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

On this day, we shall leave the lodge with packed breakfast. Our destination is the Reteti Elephant Orphanage.

Reteti is a community based project that aims at taking care of the orphan elephants. Here you will learn about the conservation measures to protect this wonderful wildlife for the future generation.

We shall drive through the rugged landscape past the iconic table mountain Mt. Ololokwe. Our bush breakfast will be served at the elephant rock. After breakfast, we shall return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives in search of cats of samburu.

DAY 4: SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK - LAKE NAIVASHA - 4 Hrs

Today you will have an early breakfast and leave for Lake Naivasha at 0730hrs.  Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake located at the base of the rift valley. We shall arrive at the lake resort in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have some hours to relax. An optional boat ride is a highly recommended activity at the lake. You will come close to the wildlife of the Lake such as the hippos, pelicans, fish eagles, and cormorants. You will return to the lodge after the boat ride for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - 4 Hrs

Early Morning breakfast followed by departure heading southwest to the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve at 0730hrs.

Named after the area's indigenous inhabitants, the Maasai, it is one of the World's richest wildlife reserves and home to the spectacular 8th world wonder The wildebeest migration. We anticipate arriving just in time for lunch served at the lodge.

Afternoon game drive across Mara's beautiful dotted plains in search of large prides of lions and other cat family species like cerval cat, cheetah, and leopard including herbivores like Topi, Hartebeest as well as many other mammals, reptiles, and amphibian species.

DAY 6 and 7: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza!!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the wild world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other regional wildlife park.

The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Maasai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara River as we watch hippos & crocodiles.

DAY 8: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - NAIROBI - 4 1/2 Hrs

Today we shall wave “kwaheri” to the wonders and fun times of the Masai Mara. We shall have our lunch along the way to Nairobi. We arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and proceed for dinner at the carnivore restaurant. After dinner, we transfer you to the airport to connect with your flight home.
