You will be received with a warm welcome at the airport by our airport representative and driven to your city hotel; a perfect place where you will be accommodated for your first night in preparation for your safari the following day.
Our safari this day starts from Nairobi heading to the Amboseli National Park romantically set under the foothill of the Mt. Kilimanjaro. The journey is approximately 4 ½ hrs and we shall set off at 0730 hrs by road. We shall drive through the Athi plains to Amboseli the land of the Maasai tribesmen and huge elephants commonly referred as the “Amboseli giant”. We shall arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Enjoy the lodge facility or have a siesta then proceed for a game drive at 1600hrs. In addition to the elephants, the park has also wildebeest, giraffes, lions, and the elusive leopard.
We shall return in the evening to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
On this day, we have options of early morning breakfast at 0600hrs then returning for breakfast or leaving for a wild game drive after your morning breakfast, or taking a full day game drive with packed breakfast and packed lunch. The view of the elephants ‘gentle giants of Amboseli’ with the backdrop of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro rejuvenates your soul. After the morning breakfast, return to the lodge and relax as you enjoy the lodge’s facilities. After lunch, we shall set for the afternoon game drive at 1600hrs in search of more wild encounters and the beautiful African sunset. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Depart for Naivasha after early morning breakfast at 0730hrs. Arrive in time for lunch at our lodge in Naivasha. You have some hours to relax as you enjoy the hotel facility or take a siesta. You may opt to take a boat ride in the afternoon at Lake Naivasha at 1600hrs. You will come close to the aquatic birdlife such as the white pelicans, pied kingfisher, giant kingfisher, cormorant, African darter, and fish eagle. You will come close to the resident hippos at lake Naivasha and see the giraffes, zebras, and impalas on the crescent island. This is such an awesome experience you would want to miss out. After the boat ride, proceed for dinner at the lodge. Overnight at the lodge.
Early Morning breakfast followed by departure at 0730hrs heading southwest to the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Named after the indigenous inhabitants of the area, the Maasai, it is one of the World's richest wildlife reserves and home to the spectacular 8th world wonder ‘The wildebeest migration. We anticipate arriving just in time for lunch served at the lodge.
Afternoon game drives across the beautiful dotted plains of Mara in search for large pride of lions and other cats family species like cerval cat, cheetah, and leopard including herbivores like Topi, Hartebeest, Oribi as well as many other mammals, reptiles, and amphibians species. Have dinner and overnight stay at a Lodge.
Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza!
Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the wild world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Maasai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)
After breakfast, we say ‘kwaheri’ to the Maasai Mara and return back to Nairobi. Our lunch will either be served on the way to Nairobi. Our last dinner is at the carnivore restaurant. After dinner, we shall transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
