The 6 days Kenya safari takes you to one of the best Kenya parks. Your safari starts at Aberdare National Park located in the Central Highlands at the base of the magnificent Mount Kenya. You will have the pleasure to watch the huge mountain elephants, bush bongos as well as buffaloes, and leopards from the comfort of your balcony. head to Lake Naivasha on the floor of the Rift Valley. Take a boat ride at Lake Naivasha and come close to the freshwater birds like the pelicans, cormorants, and fish eagles as well as wild game like the Hippos. Finally, wind your safari to Masai Mara National reserve the home to the world's greatest annual Wildebeest Migration and the BBC's Big Cat diary documentary.
You will be received with a warm welcome at the airport by our airport representative and driven to your city hotel; a perfect place where you will be accommodated for your first night in preparation for your safari the following day.
On this day, our destination is Aberdare N. Park. After breakfast you will meet your driver at the hotel at start safari at 0900hrs. We shall drive North to Nyeri County. We will drive past the equator through the central highlands arriving at the Aberdare Country Club for lunch. After lunch, you will get some hours to relax or as you wait for your transfer to The Ark which is a tree lodge in the middle of Aberdare N. Park.
The lodge is located inside the park overlooking flood-lit water hole where wild animals come to drink from. You will have a game viewing from the deck and balcony.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to the base hotel and meet with your guide to proceed to your next destination; Lake Nakuru N. Park. Your lodge is beautifully located facing the magnificent Lake Nakuru N. Park. Enjoy lunch and later head out for an afternoon game drive at the park. This park is named after the lake which is an alkaline water body. The park has lesser and greater flamingoes, amongst other bird life such as pin-tailed whydahs, bee-eaters, crested eagle, ostrich. You can also spot the white and black rhinos as well as the endangered roth-child giraffe, buffaloes, baboons. Other game is lions, leopard, and hyenas.
We shall return for dinner and overnight after sunset.
After an early Morning breakfast, we shall continue with our safari. Today, we head to south west to the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. We shall leave the hotel at 0800hrs. The reserve is named after the indigenous inhabitants of the area, the Maasai, it is one of the World's richest wildlife reserve and home to the spectacular 8th world wonder ‘The wildebeest migration’. We anticipate arriving just in time for lunch served at the lodge.
Afternoon game drive across the beautiful dotted plains of Mara in search for large prides of lions and other cat’s family species like cerval cat, cheetah, and leopard including herbivores like Topi, Hartebeest, Oribi as well as many other mammals, reptiles and amphibian species. Have dinner and overnight stay at a Lodge.
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
Maasai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the wild world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Maasai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)
After breakfast, we say ‘kwaheri’ to the Maasai Mara and return back to Nairobi. Our lunch will either be served on the way to Nairobi. Our last dinner is at the carnivore restaurant. After dinner, we shall transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
